Well…we made a very tough decision and found a new home for Bodie. It was very difficult for us to do. Bodie was about 16 months old so we spent a lot of time with him…and he was an enxtremely good & intelligent dog. It turns out he knew about 15 tricks/commands.
We made the decision based on what was best for Bodie and us in the long-term. Every since Maddox was born we have spent less & less time with Bodie. What made the decision even more difficult was that Bodie became really attached to Maddox. The very first time Maddox laughed extensively was at Bodie. We’ve had a ton of memories…good and bad…but he was a part of us and our lives. The good thing is that he is now living in a home with a family that has several acres for him so he can run around freely. They also have another Weimaraner so Bodie has a playmate.
