We took Maddox swimming for the first time. We of course had no idea how he would react to the water. He love’s taking baths, but this was a little different. It took him a few minutes to observe his surroundings but then he really liked it. He coasted around in his float with a facial expression of “this is how everyday should be”.
He actually stayed in the pool longer than we expected…about 1 1/2 hours. He got really sleepy and started nodding off. It was hilarous. There was a little water inside his float. Everytime he nodded off his head hit the water in his float and he popped back up like something bit him.
In our subdivision there are a couple of pools. The one we went to has a baby pool and a water fall that goes over the wall of the baby pool to the large pool. Maddox enjoyed the water fall more than anything I think.
It was fun. Now that Jennifer is off for the summer I’m sure swimming will become a more frequent event.
