This summer we took Maddox to SeaWorld. It was a blast! We wanted to make sure we could take in as much as possible so we spent 2 days there. The absolute coolest parts of the trip were petting the dolphins and catching the shows. We were blown away with how the people interacted with these incredible creatures. It was stunt, after stunt, after stunt. I found myself sitting there, watching, and thinking…”I could do that…I would LOVE to do that”…and reality quickly stepped in and my thoughts were more pure, like…”psshhhhh…whatever”.
One moment we will never forget was the bond created between a dolphin and Maddox. As we were feeding and petting the dolphins, one particular dolphin swam at an incredible speed and LEAPED out of the water right in front of Maddox and Jennifer. Maddox let out a high pitched squeal that caught everyone’s attention and all of the dolphins froze in their place (not really, but kind of). The scream was so high pitched that I was afraid someone was going to ask if my daughter was okay. Needless to say, he’s not a huge fan of dolphins at the moment.
