In the background you will see the fireplace. Maddox has been busted, tried, and convicted on several occasions of attempting to enter the fireplace without verbal or written approval. Why he is obsessed with the fireplace we may never know. But when he’s making faces like this, well, the family court has no option but to pardon him…which has also been done on several occasions!
