High chair and messy face…

The other day we decided to put Maddox in his high chair for the first time and try to feed him with a spoon…actually…this was mommy’s idea. He was a little confused with the high chair but did really well. Feeding him was a completely different story.

The problem was we waited until he was already hungry before we started feeding him. Mommy couldn’t get the spoon in his mouth fast enough so he became extremely impatient. We tried it again later before he got hungry and he did really well! It took him a little while to realize what was going on…but once he did it was on! He grunted every time mommy pulled the spoon out of his mouth…apparently she wasn’t going fast enough. I’m not so sure about the whole feeding with the spoon thing yet. I have an issue with messy faces and mouths. I know, I know…it’s just going to get messier. I sat and watched Jennifer feed him and fought the urge to jump up and wipe his face off. This is going to be a learning experience for both of us.
