Daddy & Maddox Prepping for a Gig

In case you aren’t aware, Jennifer and I are the youth pastors at our church, so every Wednesday night we do the youth thing. Typically, when I get home from work I try to squeeze in some last minute prep-work before we load up and take off. On this particular occasion you can see that Jennifer captured a Maddox-Daddy moment. I had my guitar…he had his…and we were both belting some crazy notes and riffs. Maddox has killer vocal range and has definitely put his own spin on tunes like Row-Row-Row Your Boat, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, This Little Light of Mine, and so many more. He is also a tough critic. Numerous times he has looked at me while I’m doing my thing and has told me to “shooosh” (his words exactly).

By the way, isn’t that smile one of the most captivating things you’ve ever seen? Combine it with the laugh and you’ve got two parents who ooze and gush with pride.
