Baby Dedication

We recently had Maddox dedicated. It was pretty cool to have our family there to share that experience with us. Both mine and Jennifer’s grandmother’s were there so 4 generations were represented.

For those of you who may not be familiar with a baby dedication let me explain. We believe our son is a gift from God. With that comes a huge responsibility. At a baby dedication, the pastor, which in our case is my dad, publically asks the parents to accept the responsibility of raising their child to love and serve God.

It was a very special moment for us to have our family there and to have my dad dedicate Maddox. However, Maddox was not feeling the moment whatsoever. He cried almost the entire time.
