9 Days and Counting…

Hurricane Ike has come, gone, and still no baby. We thought for sure Jennifer would have the baby when there was no power, which would mean I would have to step up and handle the delivery. So…we’re still counting down the days. Jennifer is now a little more than 38 weeks pregnant. Maddox should weigh about 6.8 lbs. and should be about 19 1/2 inches long.

He is still active and very responsive when we talk to him…which is the most amazing thing ever. It is hard to believe that we only have 9 days left, maybe fewer. It seems like it was just yesterday when we looked at the countdown clock and it said 100+ days. It has gone by so fast. I didn’t think we could be more anxious than we already were but we are. The house is ready…Maddox’s grandparents, aunts, & uncles are ready…we’re ready…but he isn’t quite ready. Who knows…maybe it will happen tonight. We’ll keep you posted so stay tuned!
