35 weeks = 8 months old!

Guess what Maddox did for his 8 month old birthday (actually a few days after but close enough)? He got dirty!! The Smith Family Reunion (Jennifer’s side of the family) took place and Maddox refused to sit around and watch everyone else enjoy themselves. The Smith Reunion is a HUGE event! Friends and family come from all over.

It is a lot of fun. We start off with incredible food and then take one big group photo and then individual family photos. After that, the competition begins…volleyball! We pick teams and play game after game after game. There is a TON of trash talking and no mercy! It doesn’t matter how old, or young, you are…male or female…if you are between the white chalk then you are a potential spike victim.

While all this was going on, Maddox was taking advantage of his opportunity to play…in the dirt. These pictures do not fully capture the amount of filth he collected. You can also see in the pictures that mommy shared her snowcone with Maddox…which meant when I got my snowcone, I to had to share. That’s just how it works now. Maddox is very jealous. When we eat, he thinks it is rude to leave him out. He’s got a point.
