26 weeks old…Happy Half-Birthday to You!

I cannot believe our precious little baby is now half a year old already! At Maddox’s six month check up he weighed 19 pounds 12 ounces and was 27 and 1/2 inches long.

He also got shots which are never fun and this time he had a bad reaction to them which caused a high fever. I think we are now going to split his shots up into several doctors visits and not let them give him so many at one time.

That is so cruel in my opinion to give a baby 5 shots all at one time. Mommy’s poor “Booga-Booga”

He is such a big boy now! It really is bitter-sweet. In one sense I am sad that he is growing up so fast that I can’t even remember how little he was when he was born. In another sense I am so proud at all he has learned and accomplished. I also can’t wait to hear him talk, see him take that first step, ect…

He is so amazing and the most beautiful blessing from God! Maddox has recently learned a new funny face to do, as you can see in the picture. We think he learned this at daycare.
